For over 60 years we have been designing and creating stylish footwear with hidden comfort features built in. From humble beginnings as a slipper manufacturer in Lancashire in the North West of England, we later diversified our business and began to create shoes that feel as comfortable to wear as slippers.

Fast forward to the present day and we are now an international footwear brand with over 4 million customers worldwide. Still based in our home of Lancashire, we manufacture world-class products from our state-of-the-art production facility; combining innovative robotic technology with handcraftsmanship to ensure that every pair is crafted with millimetre precision and finished to the highest quality standards. Our factory team create over £1.6m pairs of shoes each year, making us the biggest footwear manufacturer in the UK since 2010.

Every pair of shoes, boots, sandals and slippers we create is packed with Fit, Bounce, Flex; ensuring a precision fit and customised comfort. Crafted using premium leathers and featuring our signature flexible and lightweight soles, our footwear is designed to offer outstanding support and cushioning from the very first step. With a wide selection of whole and half sizes to choose from, a choice of four fittings, and clever fastening and adjustability features, our sole focus is creating beautiful footwear that makes each day effortless.

Hotter has been sold nationwide in South Africa since 1998. In 2014 the dedicated Hotter Retail Store was opened in Access Park as a way to showcase the brand in its entirety and the online store was launched in 2020, both with great success. Hotter has cemented itself as one of the premium comfort shoe brands in South Africa and we strive to deliver a premium service to all our Hotter customers as well.
